Krispy Pizza in Old Bridge is a chaotic experience
Friends have RAVED about this place and every time we have visited it’s been packed. The different pizzas we’ve tried were all really good. The subs we tried were also really good. But the service is EXTREMELY slow, the people serving are not cordial but very caustic. The atmosphere? It’s chaos. Absolute chaos. If you have anxiety, this is not the place for you. The system to host patrons is bizarre. It’s a pizzeria that serves slices but you can’t get a table to sit and eat those slices. There is what amounts to a buffet line to get slices, subs, and more. But you had better be taking it home or eating in the car because the table service gets the tables. And the table service is SLOW. VERY SLOW. The people next to us waited at least 30 minutes that we witnessed for their pie. They asked for forks and knives. The server told them that they ran out of utensils…that they were all in the dishwasher. What restaurant runs out of silverware? Not a great experience. Now I have heartburn. Not sure if it’s the eggplant or the anxiety.
