We made it…we’re halfway there! But I am a bit confused. All accounts say that Route 66 is 2,448 miles. But do the math according to the sign and it doesn’t add up. Hmmmm.

Blue Swallow Motel in Tucumcari New Mexico. If you are looking for the great neon signs…this one is probably the best. The rest was really underwhelming. The hype of the neon from the many posts seen online was not exactly accurate.
The Historic Route 66 Motel in Tucumcari New Mexico is a real throwback with the retro decor. GREAT accommodations!
